Summer Sing and Play Festival 2021

We would normally be busy organising our end of year celebration events at Hull City Hall, welcoming young musicians from our schools to join together to celebrate and share their musical learning.

This year we are inviting you to join together in our virtual celebration.

This event is for KS2 pupils, it includes our whole class ensemble programmes who will be able to perform alongside singers from all schools to create a huge virtual band.

Whether your pupils are learning the PBuzz, brass instruments, glockenspiel, steel pan, violin, cello or recorder, all WCET programmes will be able to learn the music in their lessons with the Hull Music Service team. You can also involve all of KS2 in learning to sing the songs.

We will provide:

  • Performance videos for you to learn in school and at home
  • Parts for all of our WCET programmes and instrumental learners in school
  • Learn to sing videos that take you through each song step by step
  • Supporting make and create activities for you to use in school and at home
  • CPD for your staff on teaching the songs
  • Singing assemblies for your school (optional)
  • Virtual Live performance event
