Hull Music Service – Lead Partner for Hull Music Hub, based at The Albemarle Music Centre, has launched an exciting initiative to help bring children and young people together through song as a response to the challenging times we face.
Each Friday at 13:30, there will be a performance of a well-known song on the Hull Music Service YouTube Channel. Everyone, in schools, at home, at work, in the community will be invited to sing along.
The performance will be accompanied by the newly formed “Albemarle Broadband” These musicians are all Hull Music Service teachers and have worked “virtually” to bring together a special accompaniment for the project.
James Dickinson, Head of Hull Music Service said “We are developing lots of ways to support our students and schools. Singing is such a great thing for people to come together an do. For the first week, we have chosen “Eye of the Tiger” and each day will publish activity relating to the song for schools and families to take part in. This will all then build towards the performance on Friday.”
