Elementary Strings

The Elementary String Orchestra is our first string ensemble. Players develop their ability to follow the conductor and to listen each other in order to play well together as an orchestra.
We play a range of music from traditional tunes to modern compositions by leading string composers such as Kathy Blackwell. We enjoy performing in concerts at the Albemarle Music Centre and Hull City Hall as well as taking part in the Regional Music for Youth Festival.
