Tuesday 29 October – Saturday 2 November
A street art project exploring young people’s digital lives and experiences. In a series of workshops with My Pockets, groups of young people from Psypher, Ainthorpe Youth Centre, Big Buzz and Young Carers Group created images that have been printed on large-scale printers at MakerspaceHull. The project is fun, imaginative and brings to life some of the shopfronts on Whitefriargate.
The Festival has been co – programmed and organised with Hull’s Young Mayor, Creative Voice Young People’s Planning Group and Youth Arts Takeover. Inspired by the song written from last year’s Festival “This is Who I Am” by Freedom Road Creative Arts and Hull UK Youth Parliament “Make your Mark” campaigns. Please check out the Hull City Council website for more information about the Festival as well as listen to the inspirational song!
