Battle of the Bands Competition 2019
The Hull Music Service as lead partner of the Hull Music Hub are delighted to be hosting our second Battle of the Bands Competition on Saturday 29th June 2019 at the Albemarle Music Centre. You can sign up your bands by clicking on the link below.
This year there will be two classes: One for ‘Breakthrough Talent’ and one for more ‘Established Bands’. Bands will be able to perform 10-12 minutes of music (usually 3 songs) and are also encouraged to perform some original material (not compulsory). They will experience performing on stage with Industry Standard Live Sound Equipment and a ‘Winning Band’ and ‘Most Promising Performer’ prize will be awarded for both classes. As last year, each band will need a named Responsible Adult to enter them and be with them on the day.
Once all the entries are in we will ask you for details about your band so we can make sure all the equipment we need is ready for you on the day. We will also then be able to confirm performance times and sound-check details. The atmosphere in the room last year was fantastic and we hope Bands will bring along plenty of family and friends to support the event.
