Albemarle Youth Orchestra

The Albemarle Youth Orchestra is for string, woodwind, brass and percussion players of grade four standard and above. The orchestra performs a wide variety of classical, romantic and modern music.
Tutors for each section of the orchestra support players through sectional rehearsals and offer regular help and advice.
The orchestra performs regularly at venues such as City Hall, Middleton Hall (Hull University) and Hull Minster. All players in Albemarle Youth Orchestra are also invited to play in the Regional HEROS Orchestra that meets twice a year.
From September 24, Junior Youth will merge with Albemarle Youth Orchestra to develop a larger orchestral ensemble for the new academic year.
